Sloe Gin Takes Ages

The anticipation is killing me. Every couple of days I take these jars out of their dark hidey hole and give them a good shake. My efforts should be rewarded by delicious, fruity sloe gin just in time for Christmas.


And as I now wander the hedgerows wondering what else I can turn into booze, I'm having a go at some hawthorn gin as well. It may well turn out to be utterly disgusting but nothing ventured, nothing gained. I'll report back after the taste test.
